Because I want to be an example to my 21 year old daughter and my 35 and 31 year old sons, because I want to be strong enough to never allow anyone to abuse me again. Because I want to teach young women they don't have to STAY. Because I want wives to know, their adult children suffer just as much if not more than young children when we "stay for them." I want to value myself, love myself, and exude self confidence. I want to be whole for the rest of my life and not dependant on an unhealthy relationship so maybe the bills will get paid. I want to believe in myself, forever .... Betty
