I am a survivor!!!! I was shot at point blank range with a shotgun by my ex-boyfriend, the father of my son. I was given a 1% survival rate and miraculously I did survive. My sister works for Viacom and they flew me to New York in May to attend the Joyful Heart Foundation 10th anniversary. It was amazing!! Being there made me feel empowered and I wasnt scared anymore.
