I was a victim who grew up in a home with constant domestic violence. My real Father never stepped over the line enough to leave a bruise it was more enotional spitting in my face and smacking my sister in the face. It was being the second oldest and knowing things were about to get bad and gathering all four lf my youbger sovlings and hiding in a room till it stopped. At the age of 18 I was raped by my sisters brother in law. On September 4th 2015, I entered a home thinking the people inside were my friends. I had gone up stairs to get some things I had left after staying with my rapists sister for a sleepover. While getting my clothes I was pushed strangled and held down on a bed while i was raped. The so called friends downstairs told police I left laughing when in reality I got aeay and ran out crying as he chased me. I went to the hospital the next morning. About a month later the prosecutor decided there was not enough evidence to charge him. I say NO MORE to the victims who have to live knowing their abusers are living freely. Katlyn
