I was shot by my now ex husband in my home while our young daughter slept upstairs. I was lucky to survive with minimal physical scars, but emotional scars that have taken time and a lot of love from my soon to be husband to help me learn that real love does NOT hurt, does NOT manipulate and does NOT lie.
