NO MORE Week 2016
NO MORE Week is a national grassroots activation aimed at making domestic violence and sexual assault awareness and prevention a priority year-round. Mark your calendars – the NO MORE Week of Action is March 6th – 12th!
Everyone can play a role in ending domestic violence and sexual assault, and that’s what NO MORE Week of Action is really about! Sponsored by Mary Kay, NO MORE Week of Action (March 6th-12th) invites you, your organization, or your company to take action to help end domestic violence and sexual assault (DV/SA). This day-by-day guide shows you how!
Whether it’s participating in The NO MORE Challenge, creating a NO MORE Week postcard, or simply joining the social media Thunderclap, every action can – and will – look a little different and we welcome them all. (Need some ideas? Click here!)
Whatever you prefer, the format, location and scale are up to you. The goals of NO MORE Week Activities, however, are the same:
- Amplify the conversation. Start conversations to educate people about how domestic violence and sexual assault affect us all and help eliminate the stigma, shame and blame surrounding DV/SA.
- Equip people to help end DV/SA year-round. Catalyze people to take action to help end domestic violence and sexual assault all year long and encourage friends and communities to join them.
- Leverage resources for field. Help drive additional resources and support to local domestic violence and sexual assault organizations across the country.
