NO MORE Week 2017
Domestic violence and sexual assault are real issues that impact us all.
1 in 3 women will experience domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking from an intimate partner, and 1 in 6 men will be sexually abused. These are your sisters, brothers, children and friends.
This NO MORE Week helping end domestic violence and sexual assault is simpler than ever. We have one message: NO MORE. And the more we talk, the more we give, the more people we activate – the closer we get to NO MORE.
This week, everything you say, give and do makes an even bigger impact.
We are working to raise more than $1,000,000 – in donations of cash and old cell phones – to help non-profits do their life-saving work, and to rally support for these issues like we’ve never seen before. But we can’t make that happen without you.
Help us make this NO MORE Week the biggest one yet.
We don’t talk about these issues enough, and that’s part of the problem. This week, check in with your loved ones about their relationships (learn how). Help make our message louder by donating a tweet or Facebook post, wearing the NO MORE symbol, or creating or sharing a NO MORE video! Talking is the first step.
Domestic violence and sexual assault non-profits providing lifesaving services to survivors remain severely underfunded and under-resourced. But your support will make a BIG difference. Whether it’s a $10 donation, a few friends that you rally to create a fundraising team, or a handful of old phones collecting dust – every action helps support these groups and every dollar goes further because we’ve teamed up with Verizon to give $150,000 in cash prizes to participating charities for the 2nd year!
Join volunteers around the country and throughout the world in speaking out with a unified voice for change. Rally your friends, your campus, your work place, your gym, to host a phone drive, a fundraising event, or to learn about domestic violence and sexual assault.
