Introducing Carole Fisher - NO MORE's First Global Ambassador
Carole Fisher is a passionate advocate for ending domestic violence and promoting gender equality, as NO MORE's first global ambassador. A social impact leader with a background in social work, Carole is currently the president of the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation in Washington, D.C. As a survivor of domestic violence, she is deeply committed to helping others through her advocacy.
Carole is the host of the critically acclaimed podcast The Girlfriends, that tells the story of a group of women coming together to bring down one dangerous ex-boyfriend and seek justice for Gail Katz's murder. Carole openly shares her experience with dating a man that later turned out to be a murderer. Ranking #1 in the podcast charts in the US, UK, and Canada, the story reached millions of people, creating a global sisterhood. Because The Girlfriends discusses the topic of domestic violence, the podcast partnered with NO MORE, utilizing our Global Directory as a resource. After this collaboration, Carole continued to work with NO MORE and became our first global ambassador in February 2024.
As our global ambassador, Carole has significantly contributed to education and advocacy. She recorded an impactful webinar for our Global Dialogue Series with Pamela, sharing her experience making the podcast, discussing her social impact work, and highlighting the importance of a close-knit support network.
Carole's work demonstrates the power of informed storytelling to drive social change. Her collaborations with NO MORE and leadership in the podcasting world continue to inspire action in the fight to end domestic violence and sexual assault.
We are proud to have Carole as our global ambassador and look forward to continuing our impactful collaboration in the future.
