I say no more because abuse is wrong--plain wrong! No one has the right to violate another person's body, strip him or her of their pride and cause prolonged suffering. That's exactly what rape/sexual abuse does, it crushes a person's interior as well as causes physical pain. As a survivor of teen sexual abuse, I know firsthand how hard it can be to recover and work through trauma. I've lived a great life post-abuse, but it hasn't always been easy.
I'm grateful for a loving family and supportive friends. I also stay busy with various art forms, such as singing, sketching and writing. These are all creative ways of producing happiness and tranquility within my life. Every day I tell myself that I'm special and have a lot of positive things going on.
