I say no more because for too long men have been silent. For too long men held guilt. For too long men felt “not enough”. Sexual assault happens to anyone. For too long I have felt dismissed because I’m a male. For too long I’ve wept at the idea of not being enough man to protect myself. For too long I’ve been expect to “get over it”. For TOO LONG I HAVE CARRIED THIS PAIN AND GUILT AND SHAME. FOR TOO LONG I HAVE PUNISHED MYSELF FOR NOT DOING WHAT IS EXPECTED. too long I have carried this resentment. But no longer will I let it control me. Emet
