I’ve Been Controlled, Downgraded, Beaten, Neglected, Disrespected, Beaten Down Physically/Mentally/Verbally/Emotionally, Treated In The Worst Ways Possible, I’ve Been Called The Worst Names You Can Think Of For So Long.. Yes I Thought I Loved Him. I’ve Accepted That I Just Didn’t Want Too Be Alone and Was Scared Too Leave Him Because Of The Capabilities He Had.. But Now! That Girl All That Happened Too Is GONE. She’s Dead, She’s Not Here Anymore. She SURVIVED and When Her Abuser Is Incarcerated She Feels Safe. The Scars and Marks He Created Will Always Remain But That Girl Isn’t Scared Anymore! She’s Free. She’s Happy With Her Life and She Has Changed In Many Ways Because Of The Abuse She Took. He May Still Try Too Sabotage My Life and Hold Back My Happiness. But It Won’t Work Anymore! The Person Who Vowed Too Protect Me, Love Me and Always Be My Person Is The One I Need Protection From.. My Monster Was My Husband, He Was Her Abuser.. But NOW I’m a SURVIVOR! Jacquelynn
