Show your support for NO MORE domestic violence and sexual assault
I say no more because as a result of my experience with domestic violence, I now have a passion for change, so that others don’t have to enter into such a broken system. Those who will inevitably fall back into the arms of their abusers, because the system doesn’t work. The system blames, minimizes, and disregards victims. Coincidentally, these are the same behaviors used by abusers to exert power and control. I am thankful that I will never have to look into his eyes again. But what about everyone else? I will demand change, I will do everything I can to transform the system and help others, and I no longer need anyone’s permission. Lauren
