Show your support for NO MORE domestic violence and sexual assault
I say no more because I was raped, gaslight, and coerced by my ex (at the time boyfriend) in 2020 and 2021. Because of the stress of one of my assaults in February of 2021 I had a suspected miscarriage. This was a man I loved, and had known since I was 8 years old. Our moms were best friends, and we were mutual childhood crushes. He was in my homeschool co-op as a child, and was in public an amazing person. Behind the scenes he was sexist, abusive, controlling, and a compulsive liar. However once he was arrested on a felony, peoples eyes in the community opened.
After the breakup I came forward and reported my assault in October of 2021. Currently a grand jury trial date is being determined.
I say no more, and I speak out, because he still lives in my city. Because his work knows of what he’s accused of and has him working in the public. I speak out for my safety and the safety of others. I say no more because I still suffer flashbacks and ptsd and will for the rest of my life Myra
