Trisha
I broke free when I turned 20. I grew up in a conservative Asian family and was physically, mentally, and emotionally abused by my father for about 16 years. The abuse started when I turned four and became a vicious trap that was hard to escape. Among many other things, I was also raped by multiple pedophiles, and when I tried to voice my concerns, I was told it didn't matter. To all the strong women out there, just remember that you are loved, and may you always walk in the light. The light in me sees the light in you, and the strong woman in me embraces the strong woman in you. Please don't be ashamed to talk about your experiences; they are the epitome of how strong we all are women beings. For some, the damage came from their fathers; for some, it was men they loved, and for many, it wasn't a choice; they were simply stripped of their tenderness because they were women.  Their actions didn't define us; our challenges did. Ever all come a lou#Dontbeafraid #Strongwomenareeternal Trisha
