A New Year for Awareness and Prevention
As we start off a new year, we wanted to share updates on our ongoing and new efforts to end domestic and sexual violence. We have been gearing up for an impactful NO MORE Week 2025 (March 2-8) while continuing to use our platforms and partnerships to increase awareness, support the work of the sector, and connect survivors to lifesaving resources. Find out more below.
But first, if you haven’t already, please sign up here today for the NO MORE Week Challenge, the 5th annual virtual Walk/Run that you can complete anywhere, any time throughout March. All funds raised will go to support survivors around the world. So join now and invite your friends and colleagues to take part with you!
Increasing Awareness About Stalking and Human Trafficking
This January marks two critical awareness observances: National Stalking Awareness Month and National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. These periods shine a light on two pervasive issues affecting millions of people worldwide.
This month, we have been using our channels to share special content and resources, both for survivors and for bystanders to learn to recognize signs and provide support. Be sure to follow our social media channels (@nomoreorg) and blog for shareable content and actionable steps you can take to make a difference.
Preparing for NO MORE Week 2025
Our annual week of global activism – NO MORE Week 2025 – is only a little more than a month away. From March 2nd through 8th, we invite you join us to raise awareness and inspire action to end domestic and sexual violence in your community.
One of the highlights of the week will be our 2nd NO MORE Week Tech. Summit: “Empowering or Endangering? Tech’s Impact on Domestic and Sexual Violence.” Taking place on Tuesday, March 4th, this free, online event will feature an impressive lineup of global experts and advocates discussing technology’s dual role in preventing and perpetuating abuse. Panel discussions will cover some of today’s most urgent topics, including artificial intelligence, tech-facilitated abuse, and online misogyny. You won’t want to miss these critical conversations!
Celebrating Work Across the Sector
One of the best parts of NO MORE Week is celebrating the incredible work being done around the world to end domestic and sexual violence. This year, we want to amplify your efforts!
If you or your organization are planning activities, initiatives, or campaigns this March to raise awareness or support survivors, we want to hear from you! Tag us on social media and use the hashtag #NOMOREWeek to share your stories. Let’s inspire one another and show the world what’s possible when we unite for change.
