2nd Annual WALK FOR NO MORE: Together We Can End Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault

WALK FOR NO MORE is the first in a series of events to celebrate BWIC’s 40thAnniversary, the theme of which is “BWIC Healthy Village Project.”

WALK FOR NO MORE registration will begin at 2:45 pm. The goal of the walk is to raise $50,000 for BWIC services and programs.

Teams and individuals may register for the event on CrowdRise. Each registered individual walker that collects $100 or more will receive a free t-shirt, and all walk participants will receive a free general admission ticket to the Fightins game with the Portland Sea Dogs at 6:05 PM. Prizes will be awarded in several categories to encourage and reward walkers who are assisting BWIC in reaching their financial goal.

Berks Women in Crisis is a nonprofit organization that provides a safe haven and ongoing support system for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Our advocacy and education programs increase awareness and promote the prevention of domestic violence, sexual assault, and all forms of oppression.
