October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
-Purple Ribbons of Hope-
While the color PURPLE traditionally suggests royalty, strength and courage; unfortunately, it can also represent the bruises and pain many have suffered at the hands of abusers.
Join Voices of Tamar and other helping organizations display commemorative Purple ribbons on the grounds of Sandra Joy Anderson Community Health and Wellness Center in Austin, TX 78702. Ribbons will be provided. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
This event serves as an expression of love and support to those individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and other life altering experiences.
