Port Angeles Cabaret (PA Cabaret), the vaudeville performance troupe with a mission of social-giving, presents “BattleAxe Burlesque” for the benefit of Healthy Families of Clallam Co. will be hosted at The Metta Room, 132 E. Front Street, with a sultry filled evening of live burlesque, comedy acts, live music and special performances, Saturday, August 1st. 2015 at 9 p.m. PT.
“Audiences can expect a night of Valiant Vixens and Sultry Sensations, followed by the musical expressions of local rock stars Inside Defiance!
Shine up your battleaxes and join Port Angeles’s world-famous Cabaret for a sexy journey through the night with the fiercest female fighters in burlesque! ” said PA Cabaret producer and performer Siouxzie Q. “‘BattleAxe Burlesque’ is a show that is sure to bring titillating, top-self tease to Port Angeles & much needed financial support to Healthy Families of Clallam Co.”
PA Cabaret was formed with the sole purpose of benefiting charitable causes. In October 2014, they have already raised over $2000 for Olympic Peninsula cancer support organizations in collaboration with Noxious Oxalis’s “Bosom Buddies” event, and also hosted benefits for Port Angeles High School’s Performing Arts program with their “Banking on Burlesque” events that have raised over $3000. The PA Cabaret mission statement includes: “We believe that we are all made of the same energy and therefore are all really one.We feel we can enjoy this time/space reality while opening hearts and minds and creating lasting change.”
