I will be going to a meeting at Blackstone launch pad at Lorain Community College. There I will be pitching my idea to get a non-profit organization started that will help survivors have more healthy healing options available for them. Some of the ideas I would like to get help for survivors are yoga, meditation, self defense, healthy coping methods. As a survivor of rape I know how easy it is to turn to drugs and other very unhealthy coping methods. I hope that I can get things started to help future survivors make better decisions and never feel ashamed about what happened to them.
