Come out to Nellie’s Sports Bar for Drag Bingo and to raise funds for Survivors Worldwide, Inc. 501(c)(3), a new nonprofit created by the organizer of SlutWalk D.C.

Survivors Worldwide, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to reforming societal attitudes that excuse violence by misplacing blame onto victims. We are working to break down barriers for survivors to heal and/or seek justice through issue specific campaigns that dismantle systems of shame and oppression.

Proceeds from fundraisers will be used towards outreach campaigns focused on ending the rape kit backlog in Washington, D.C.

We do not know the extent of the backlog in Washington, DC because like most other jurisdictions, Washington, DC does not require the tracking or counting of untested rape kits.
