The Memphis Police Department- Domestic Violent Unit in collaboration with Girls to Women mentoring will facilitate a Girl Talk with middle school girls in 6-8 grade. The discussion will focus on two concepts: Awareness and Prevention.  The following topics will be discussed:

1. Understanding dating; 2. Understanding healthy relationships; 3.  Relationships and conflicts; 4. Risk factors and behaviors of unhealthy relationships; 5.  Resources to get help; reporting domestic violence and safely leaving unhealthy relationships
