Kansas State University students are partnering with the Care Center at Kansas State University to host an event aimed at spreading awareness around sexual and domestic violence for students and the Manhattan community.

The event will kick off with a “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” followed by testimonials by survivors, representatives of community resources, and representatives of campus resources. We will end the event with a balloon release signifying Kansas State University is letting go of and saying “NO MORE” to domestic and sexual violence and the stigma that is often attached to these issues. Leading up to the event, donations will be raised for a local domestic violence shelter, Manhattan Crisis Center Inc. The weekend before the event we will also have a fundraiser dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse and all proceeds collected with go to the Manhattan Crisis Center Inc.
