February is almost over which means the Avalon Center is getting ready to show our support for “NO MORE Week”, which is March 8th – 14th! “NO MORE is a public awareness and engagement campaign focused on ending domestic violence and sexual assault. Using its signature blue symbol to increase visibility and foster greater dialogue, NO MORE seeks to break social stigma, normalize the conversation around domestic violence and sexual assault, and increase resources to address these urgent issues. NO MORE is aligned with hundreds of organizations working at the local, state and national levels on prevention, advocacy, and services for survivors.” To sum it up, “NO MORE Week” is our opportunity to show that we take a stand against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Will you join us in our mission? During this week we ask that you get your organization(s), friends, and family get involved. There are three ways you can do this:

#1. Pick a day during “NO MORE week” and get together
with your peers, co-workers, friends, and family, and
take a picture with the “NO MORE” logo (we will
provide a template for you on our Facebook page).
You can email your picture to
mhalbert@avaloncentertn.org or
kdavenport@avaloncentertn.org and we will gladly
post your picture on our Facebook page.

#2. Meet us at the Avalon Center office at 3 pm on Friday,
March 13th and join us as we take a group picture to
show our support!
