The Purple Tie Monologues is a night of Domestic Violence Awareness through the Arts. You will be able to relive real moments of abuse and violence experienced through those who come to share. There will also be Spoken Word Artists reciting original pieces written JUST for this event.

This is an event for ages 12 and up. If we don’t reach them young, it’s too late to reach them after they have experienced it.

There will be FREE HIV/AIDS testing on site, as well as, a Counselor to speak with at the closing. We will also have an array of vendors and light refreshments will be served.

We encourage you to come with an open mind to be able to receive what the presenters will provide you with.
