National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE), PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, Vancouver Police Domestic Violence Division and many community partners will launch our Rape Victim Dignity Campaign on March 9, 2020 at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA.

Every time rape victims come into the emergency room, going home in a paper gown or donated clothing  is just too demeaning for the victims already going through a horrible nightmare.  NWCAVE will now lead the effort to restore the dignity of victims by providing new clothing, socks and bras to survivors of rape, domestic violence, sex trafficking and sexual assault seen by emergency services at PeaceHealth Medical Center.

We will launch this service during NO MORE Week because we believe #ChangeHappensHere and together we can end domestic violence and sexual assault.  This effort will encompass our WA Says No More Campaign, Gift of Lift Bra Program and other divisions of NWCAVE.
