The #MeToo movement has focused unprecedented and sustained public attention on sexual harassment, assault and other forms of gender-based violence. The heightened public awareness has made prevention work more complicated. Most people now believe that they know a lot about the issues, but much of what they believe is based on myths and misconceptions.
This meeting will focus on how to collectively advance prevention efforts. We will celebrate our successes and highlight the impact of our work to date. We have some exciting upcoming opportunities to discuss, and we want your input about how Southwest PA Says NO MORE can be a partner and a resource in creating a world free from domestic violence and sexual assault.
