October 6th: A Showcase Screening of this engaging and provocative documentary on sexual assaults on college campus and the alleged failure of university administrators to pursue aggressive action against student assailants.
College students from Memphis-area campuses are encouraged to attend the screenings and a Community Resources Fair earlier in the day from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the University Center Atrium at the UofM. A panel discussion featuring Kirby Dick, writer/director of documentary, immediately follows each screening.
This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Zach Curlin Garage.

October 7th: “Tigers Take a Stand”
· Pledge campaign: Show your commitment to preventing sexual assault by making a pledge. (9-3, UC Atrium)
· Memphis Says No More: Video booth where you can tell your stories and concerns about sexual assault (9-3, UC Atrium)
· Self Defense/Personal Safety Seminar: The seminar is designed to encourage students and employees to become more aware of their surroundings and to protect themselves and their property. Personal safety tips, vehicle safety tips, and basic self-defense techniques will be discussed with a small block of self-defense instruction near the end of the seminar, which should enlighten participants on how to avoid adverse situations and, as a last resort, defend themselves if necessary.
