What is Safe Spaces?

Hestia’s UK SAYS NO MORE campaign in partnership with Boots UK, Superdrug, Morrisons, Well and independent pharmacies across the UK, delivered Safe Spaces in order to increase discreet pathways for victims of Domestic Abuse to access specialist domestic abuse support services, safely. Currently, 1 in 4 pharmacies across the UK, provide a Safe Space in their consultation rooms for people experiencing domestic abuse.

In January 2021 the UK government expanded on the Safe Spaces scheme and launched a codeword scheme – ANI, for those enduring domestic abuse providing an immediate response from services such as the police. https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/ask-for-ani-and-safe-spaces-schemes-pharmacy-materials

What is Online Safe Spaces?

Hestia’s UK SAYS NO MORE campaign in partnership with Royal Mail Group developed Online Safe Spaces. An open-source portal accessed via the Safe Spaces widget on any customer facing webpage, the portal provides a discreet pathways for victims of Domestic Abuse to access specialist support information, safely, in a variety of languages.

Organisations such as Post Office, Parcelforce Worldwide, MOD, Thames Water, City Post and many others have adopted a free widget onto their website,
