I said No More because I was tired of living a life that I did not know how to cope with. For five years of my childhood I was regularly molested and severely abused. Forced into duffle bags, sleeping bags and a closet to be hidden and later molested. I would hide, only to be hunted like an animal and molested again. The physical pain felt like fire at times. I told, I cried but Mom said to be quiet. So the abuse continued. Teen years were filled with depression and anxiety. Early twenties is when I said no more. Years of therapy and a lot of work enabled me to develop healthy coping mechanisms that will continue to help me forever. I am truly grateful for every smile I have and proud of the person I worked so hard to become. I now motivate others to heal and find their happy by sharing my story. We are not what happened to us.
