Beaten by my adoptive mother and sexually abused by my adoptive dad, I grew up very confused. The grooming began young , before I started school. The rape when I was eight till the age of thirteen. The kid in the shadows, you know the quiet strange one. The one the others pick on, the one teased and made fun of. The one confused, emotional looking for someone who really cares. I was that kid. It's true as Ahmed stated, you never fully escape whats been done to you. The unpredictable pain or sadness , the hurt, the flashback can happen any time. I say no, no more no child should ever go through this again. Stop the abuse!!!!! Mark
