I say “NO MORE” not only because of what my children and I have gone through but, also because I hear way too much about abuse and nothing being done about it. I see in the media, hear about, and know too many women that have faced or are facing the same thing. We need to put a stop to abuse, there needs to be more help from judges, law enforcement, the community, support groups, everyone. We need to stand firm and insist on “NO MORE”!!
ABUSE, fear, insecurity, and shame should not define who you are. Strength, determination, power and believing in your self will give you the control to over come any abuse and to help you stand tall and be proud of who you are. We are all survivors; we are speaking out, cherish that strength to fight. As a child I was sexually abused by my step father. He took my childhood from me; but I had refused to let him take the rest of my life from me.
As a survivor of DV, mental, physical and sexual abuse throughout most of my life, i got out and took a stand against my abusers…..i used the experiences to grow, get strong and change my life and to help others in the process….say NO MORE to abuse n DV n empower yourself to take back control of your life…….
