I say No More because I've been raped and sexually assaulted more than 5 times throughout my life and these experiences have effected me in the worst ways imaginable. Not only have I never gotten justice for any of the crimes committed against me, I've suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Something that I still work to conquer every day. As a result, in the past I have struggled in my professional and personal life and I've alienated myself from friends and family.
For the longest time, I've felt like I was not believed and have harbored so much anger towards law enforcement, people whom I thought were supposed to be in my corner and some people who might not have deserved my coldness towards them. But as I continue to heal and work towards becoming a better me, I founded my own Event Planning agency and have dedicated my life towards producing events that raise funds for organizations like No More, so that survivors can take advantage of the resources and programs that they need.
Together, as a family of survivors and those who support us, I am confident that we will change the landscape of rape culture and end violence against women and children. Whitney Nichole
