THE NO MORE FOUNDATION WELCOMES LYNDSEY DEARLOVE AS NEW DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

London, May 11, 2022 – The NO MORE Foundation has enlisted Lyndsey Dearlove, a passionate advocate for social justice with almost 20 years of experience addressing and preventing domestic and sexual violence, to serve as its first Director of Operations. Based in London, she will oversee NO MORE’s day-to-day operations and manage key projects and initiatives with the organization’s corporate partners.

Dearlove joins NO MORE from Hestia, a leading London-based organization providing support for those experiencing domestic abuse, modern slavery and mental health needs. Hestia also houses the UK chapter of NO MORE, “UK Says NO MORE,” which Dearlove helped to launch and then ran. In addition, Dearlove led the development of “Safe Spaces,” an initiative that allows people experiencing domestic abuse to safely and discreetly get help when they go to participating pharmacies and banks, and she created “Online Safe Spaces,” an online portal, used over one million times, that also provides discreet specialist domestic abuse support.

She also led Hestia’s policy response, helping to secure passage of the Domestic Abuse Act that was adopted in 2021, and co-developed with the Vodafone Foundation the successful Bright Sky app., a free app. for domestic abuse survivors and their loved ones to find support.

In prior positions at Hestia and SBHG, she managed trauma-informed domestic abuse services, such as Refuges, Independent domestic abuse services (IDVA), community-based specialist domestic abuse services and special services for children. She brings to NO MORE a passion for ensuring that the voices of those with lived experience are raised and heard.
