Our hearts go out the Perkins and Belcher families in this time of tragedy. This incident reminds us that there is still much work to be done, educating communities on how to recognize the signs of domestic violence before it’s too late, and generating widespread awareness and support for the organizations and agencies that work tirelessly to prevent violence and to aid victims and their families.
